Sun City and Sun City West are neighbors and share many similarities — but they’re not the same. Sun City, the original, has a different physical and demographic character that matters for understanding health needs:

Older housing stock. Sun City’s homes were built over a 25-year span from 1960 to 1984. Many are single-level ranch homes on flat lots, which is appropriate for seniors, but the infrastructure is aging.
